    SCSSAR Robert Anderson Chapter member Ethan Price wrote a successful $50,000 grant to Am 250 to build a bronze Statue of Rev War heroine Dicey Langston which was given to the town of Traveler's Rest to install in a park. The Mayor's office is coordinating a dedication.

    From 1-3 July, we will be participating in the Revolutionary City at Marion Square: The Revolutionary City There will be tents set up for various groups to showcase 18th Century crafts, skills, etc.  One tent will be used to promote the C.A.R., DAR, and SAR.  Compatriots will find this a fitting activity to mark our 250th Anniversary.
